Woman charged for abandoning dog in stroller at Pittsburgh airport

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A woman accused of intentionally abandoning her dog at a Pennsylvania airport before she boarded a flight to a resort in Mexico earlier this month has been charged with animal cruelty and related charges, authorities announced Thursday. Allegheny County Police say Allison Lyn Gaiser, 44, tried to bring her brown-and-white male French bulldog with her on a flight departing from Pittsburgh International Airport on Aug. 4. Bellefonte Cruise sees over 300 cars compete this year

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (WJAC) — The Bellefonte Cruise kicked off — and into high gear — Friday night, wrapping up on Saturday. The annual car show has been a staple in Bellefonte and the wider region for 33 years, now. Organizers told us this year's two-day event drew in about 15,000 to 20,000 car-lovers, to admire and gawk at a range of cars. Over 300 classic, antique cars filled up the streets of downtown Bellefonte this year, which meant lots of competition this Father's Day weekend. Read More...

Drugs, guns seized in Huntingdon Co. bust during winter storm

HUNTINGDON CO, Pa (WJAC) — According to Huntingdon County District Attorney David Smith, one man was arrested during this week's snowstorm following a drug bust in Union Township. Authorities say 45-year-old Scott Moyer faces charges of drug manufacturing, possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents. According to a criminal complaint, state police in Huntingdon and the PSP SERT Unit executed a search warrant of Moyer's residence, on Tuesday morning, following a months-long investigation.
