PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A Philadelphia police officer was shot and killed and a second officer was wounded when they confronted people breaking into a car at Philadelphia International Airport, police said.
A person who was brought to a hospital privately and died there may have been involved in the Thursday night shooting but investigators haven't confirmed that, interim Police Commissioner John Stanford said at a late-night news conference.

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Popular convenience store chain Rutter's has reportedly closed a deal to purchase over 8 acres of land along Scalp Avenue in Richland Township. Officials say the new store will be located at 1609 Scalp Ave., the site of the former Dewar's Auto shop.
According to a press release, the land deal was brokered by Bob Varner of Pennswood Commercial Reality.

PORTAGE – State police said Friday that they have found a missing 74-year-old woman from Cambria County in Maryland.
Police said they located Patricia Arpino Friday and she is safe.
Arpino was reported missing after she left her residence on the 1100 block of Cambria Street at 11 a.m. Thursday.
