Spook yourself this Halloween with a visit to the Headless Horseman's hometown

NEW YORK CITY (SBG) — The impenetrable fog that had drowsily hovered just inches above the surface of New York's Hudson River all morning had dissipated by the time I visited the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, but the afternoon sky was still a dreary shade of gray that shrouded the burial ground in an appropriate state of pensiveness. As winding paths led me around the cemetery in often-unintentional circles, it was impossible to ignore the charming backdrop of leaves in various stages of their journey to magnificent shades of red, orange, and yellow; or the miniature warblers on an expedition of their own, flitting from one branch to another to fuel up for the following leg of their migration to warmer points south. 'Rooted in Color' is an art exhibit tackling discrimination

JOHNSTOWN - As Black History Month comes to an end, one local artist is using her creativity to spark up a conversation about discrimination. Ashley A. Jones, a master's degree student at IUP, says the idea for her exhibit “Rooted in Color” came after dealing with discrimination herself, and she knew she wasn’t alone. “I wanted to see something that talked about black women and that talked about the issues within the community, and hair and all these different issues of trying to be a black woman and these standards of beauty that doesn't exist,” Jones says. A new Medical Center is a year away from the grand opening

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — There are many vacant buildings in Johnstown, so instead of knocking them down, why not build them back up? The building located at the intersection of Central Ave and Osborne Street has been vacant since 2016. Six years later, and the building finally has a purpose again.
